Welcome to Meredith’s Kitchen Table — a space dedicated to nourishing, flexible vegetarian recipes designed for real life.
As a busy mom of two girls Violet (2) and Portia (1), navigating postpartum, hormone imbalances, and life after thyroid cancer, I know how hard it can be to take care of your body when everything feels like too much. Food has become one of the most grounding tools in my healing — not just for energy and hormones, but for the emotional side of recovery too.
Here, you’ll find easy, flavor-packed meals inspired by a variety of cultural roots (including Haitian influences from my husband’s side), along with wholesome sweet treats, smart kitchen shortcuts, and food that genuinely helps — especially for those navigating postpartum depletion, thyroid issues, or just everyday burnout.
While recipes are the heart of this space, I’ve also carved out room for something more: honest conversations about wellness, motherhood, identity, and healing. This blog holds reflections on what it means to take care of yourself when you’re stretched thin — from acne struggles to emotional eating, from imposter syndrome to figuring out exercise and movement that feels doable.
This is a space where nourishment meets truth. Where food is part of the story — but not the whole thing.
No pressure. No perfection. Just honest cooking, quiet growth, and healing that starts at the table and spills into the rest of life.
I’m so glad you’re here.
