Dark Chocolate, Nuts & Seeds Bark

Vegan

This simple homemade bark is the ultimate feel-good treat—rich dark chocolate paired with crunchy nuts and seeds for a sweet, salty, and satisfying snack. Not only does it taste amazing, but it’s also full of hormone-supportive nutrients. Dark chocolate is naturally anti-inflammatory, nuts provide healthy fats and omega-3s, and seeds like pumpkin and sunflower add minerals that support thyroid and hormone health.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz bag dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 ½—2 cups varied nuts and seeds (cashews, almonds, pistachios, Brazil nuts, black sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)
  • Sea salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl (15-second increments, stirring between) or gently on the stovetop.
  2. Line a dish or pan with parchment paper. Pour in the melted chocolate and spread evenly into the corners.
  3. Evenly sprinkle nuts and seeds over the chocolate. If using Brazil nuts, roughly chop first. Lightly swirl with a fork to incorporate without fully mixing.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  5. Place in the freezer until solid, then chop into chunks.
  6. Store in the freezer for best texture and freshness.
