Vegan/Vegetarian
This is one of my go-to smoothies when I need something quick, energizing, and full of nutrients—but still sweet and satisfying. It’s easy to tweak depending on what you have on hand, but I always come back to the combo of strawberries, banana, and a handful of hidden greens.

Ingredients
- ½ banana
- ½ cup berries of choice (I usually use a blend of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries if I have them)
- Splash of milk of choice (I use organic unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 1–2 spoonfuls of Greek yogurt (optional— use dairy-free if needed for creaminess)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 1–2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 date (pitted)
- Handful of spinach
- Handful of ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour, sip, and enjoy!
Wellness Notes
- Berries are rich in antioxidants, which help protect your thyroid from oxidative stress
- Spinach adds anti-inflammatory leafy greens and more antioxidants
- Chia & flax seeds are full of fiber and omega-3s—great for inflammation and hormone support
- Hemp hearts bring plant-based protein to keep you full and energized
- Yogurt (especially with probiotics) supports gut health, which ties into hormone regulation and immunity
