Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
- 1 cup oats
- 1–1 ½ cups berries of choice (I love blueberries and raspberries)
- 2–2 ½ cups water or plant-based milk (like almond milk)
- 2 tbsp agave or sweetener of choice (to taste)
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 3 tbsp hemp seeds
Optional toppings:
- Sliced coconut
- Dried cranberries
- Chopped walnuts
- Splash of milk
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the berries with your choice of water or milk. Blend until smooth and pour into a small pot.
- Bring the berry liquid to a gentle boil, then stir in oats. Reduce to a simmer and cook until oats are soft and creamy (about 5–7 minutes), stirring occasionally.
- Add chia seeds, flaxseed meal, hemp seeds, and sweetener. Stir to combine and let everything thicken slightly.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings and a splash of extra milk if desired.
Wellness Notes
